Cars & Cats

Last Wednesday my Saturn died on I-10. I have been driving David's farm truck for now. We hope to find an affordable car soon.
A neighbor dropped off an abandoned kitten on Thursday. Haven't decided yet whether we are just a foster home or permanent.

Well, I am giving blogging a try. I have added 3 blogs that I want to follow and they have been deleted 4 times. Maybe the 5th time is the charm!!! Nikki was so sweet to take the time with me to help me figure out how to do this. Now I just need to keep up with it! I noticed the last time I posted was in 2009.

In April of 2011, we took a family trip to Atlanta, Georgia to tour the Atlanta Temple during the open house. We also visited Stone Mountain, ate at the Cheesecake Factory and had a great time just being together.

Nikki started this blog, but I have no idea what to do next!! I would love to post pictures, but I think Nikki is right -- she will have to do it. I do have pics of the new room, also of my strawberry patch. Guess I'll have to wait until she visits to put them on here. I was lucky to remember how to log on!!!

Life for the Howard-Kelsons

Well, we have been talking about starting a family blog for months now, since we never got our Christmas newsletter out. We thought this might be easier for us!

Mom and David's room is not finished yet but they are sleeping in it...no, not on the floor, they do have a bed. I'll let Mom post pics later....or maybe the boys or I will have to do it...lol!

Mom teaches seminary now...which she actually loves! Dallin takes after his sister by being late almost everyday :) She also scrapbooks A TON and is almost caught up!

Dallin graduates in May...oh my gosh do I feel old!! His plans for after high school vary everyday...guess he takes after his sister in lots of ways! He competes in the Chipola Brain Bowl and has won lots of trophies.

Paul just turned 16 and will probably be getting his license later this year...eek! He will be ordained as a priest on Sunday.

As for me, I live in Tallahassee and work at a bookstore and am hoping to start college again this fall. I absolutely LOVE being on my own!

So there's just a quick note on all of us. The Howard-Kelson's are doing GREAT in florida!! Although of course, we still miss Colorado! Hopefully we will post more pics soon...and maybe my mom can take over on the blogging :) She is Miss Technology now with her own facebook page!
